Summer Update 10

Hello!

Before you continue reading this post, read the one below! It's entitled "Maybelline One-By-One Volum' Express Mascara". It's a review! I was thinking that I'd only be doing Summer Updates, but I put in like...one review, so I'm sure that's fine with you people. (;

SERIOUSLY GUYS, I'M A FAAAAAIL...I'm blanking on what I did so I'm consulting my Twitter! $; I knew that thing would come in handy! ;P

Thursday: I went to work in the morning and then in the afternoon I went to some places with my dad and in the evening, my Dad and I made a super yummy supper! CHICKEN WINGS!
Friday: In the morning, the power was out...it was odd. Then I had to do a whole whack of cleaning and jazz, and had TACOS for supper! :D
Saturday: Played on my iPod, organized some stuff, made a chicken dinner with my Dad, and we had my Grandpa over for supper.
Sunday (yesterday): Went to Church, hung out with my besties Sunny, Dakota, Lydia and Jane (at Sunny and Jane's house) and we watched Nanny Diaries and Knight and Day! THEY ARE SOOO EPIC! Knight and Day made me laugh cuz it was just sooo funny for some reason! XD
Monday (today): Went to work, chilled. That's pretty much it! :P

Summer Update 9

Hiiiiii!

I am sooo sorry that I hardly ever post on here! You all totally deserve to have updates and reviews from me, but I've just been sooo busy these past few weeks! It's not that I'm neglecting this blog. Other times I'll admit, I have been like "ehh..I'll blog later..." and then it doesn't really happen! But I am finally somewhat free-er....'is that a word???' Er, I am somewhat more free this week so HERE IS DESTINY J. DIDDLESWORTH! (:

Now that that's out of the way, let's get to business.
The last time I blogged on here, I posted about going on vacation with my friends.

Once we got back from that, we had a week of prep for VBS (Vacation Bible School) at our Church. Then, last week we had the actual VBS! It was "Big Apple Adventure" theme, which if you don't know, is New York! It was really fun making props and stuff! Here's a picture of a Broadway sign that Dakota drew, and I helped her paint!

Cool right?!?!?! I love it! Dakota's a pretty great artist! I just painted, so that doesn't count for much.

I really do <3 VBS! It was sooo fun! I wish it was more than one week...well I always say that until the week is over! ;P then I'm EXHAUSTED!

This week:

Sunday: Church, then a VBS after party! It was a super fun pool party!
Monday: Woooork...then I went to some places with my dad and concluded the day just by chillin'.
Tuesday: Hung out with one of my best friends that I haven't hung out with for a few weeks. I also went to the doctor and ended off that day watching the first week of the America's Got Talent Semi-Finals! I just adooooore that show! :D It's probably one of the only shows I watch on TV....hard to believe right? In this generation, most teens are OBSESSED with TV...I used to be, but now I'm just ...not!
Wednesday: I hung out with that one best friend again! We hung out from like...11AM til 8PM! And before that, I was just doing some chores.
Thursday (today): I went to work, came home for lunch, went some places with my dad, and came home again to make an FANTASTIC supper! Rice, corn on the cob and homemade honey-garlic chicken wings! It was all sooo good, but the honey-garlic sauce was really sticky! :P Then I chilled for a bit and came online!

School starts on September 6th for me...and after that, I'll be starting reviews again(: I think that each summer, I'll take a break from reviews and just do "Summer Updates".

This post is really long and I wanna go play some games on the America's Got Talent website! :P I'll inform y'all about some important stuff soon!

Summer Update 8

Hello my lovely readers!

I just posted an entry regarding the new layout....it's super short, but if you're interested, then check it out below!

I am multi-tasking right now....talking to my friend on MSN, listening to my iTunes, adding contacts to my back-up E-mail, and making this post!

This post is about my vacation with Sunny, Dakota, Dakota, Lydia and Jane! I won't go into a lot of detail because I have a feeling that without going into a lot of detail, this post will still be faaaaairly long! $;

We went away on Tuesday and came back on Saturday.

OH! Since there are two Dakota's, I'll call blogging Dakota; Kota, and the other Dakota; Dakota!

On Tuesday we all met at Kota's house, and Sunny, Jane and their mom picked us up there. Dakota got kinda lost on the way to Kota's house, but we were gracious and didn't give her too much of a hard time! ;P It was torture on the way there because seven people, plus their luggage was smushed in the non-air-conditioned van of Sunny and Jane's family. (Sorry, Sunny....it's truuuuue!)

Basically, when we arrived at our long awaited destination (being Sunny and Jane's grandparent's house), we had sandwiches for lunch (buuuuuns!)...sorry. Then after that, we kinda all chilled in the basement (where Sunny, Dakota, Kota, Lydia and I all slept). Then we went to the beach (minus Jane and the grandparents) to take some pictures, and the sky was fairly gray...grey...(?)...either one! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! About 10 minutes into our picture taking, the wind got heavier and sand and leaves were blowing everywhere as it started to rain! CRAZZZZZZY! It blew through pretty fast though. We just relaxed in the evening.

Wednesday we went swimming at Sunny and Jane's aunt and uncles house. That was fun and then we had lunch at like.....4:00ish because Sunny and Kota are late sleepers... ;P when we got home, we were watching movies and making jewelry and had a late supper of.....TACOS! I think! hahahaha....

Thursday we went to a Pizza Hut lunch buffet and then to the mall. We had a GREAT time at both places..and got our fair share of weird looks from passers-by. What can I say..!? We're an odd bunch! We had lots of fun talking about Julian Smith videos! XD (inside jokes...) we watched more movies in the evening.

Friday was JUST AMAZIN'! ...well all the days were! :P and this one had it's down sides too... -.- We went to the beach and we're all STUPID and didn't wear sunscreen. mhmmm...you've got it! We all got sunburnt! Well except for Sunny and Jane! Lucky ducks.. Anywhooo, we didn't realize we had sunburns at first. After the beach we went home (well to the grandparent's) and got changed and relaxed for a little bit. Then we picked up two of Sunny and Jane's cousins and went to A&W for supper because the grandparent's had coupons. After that, we did some Mad Libs on the way to get ice cream. The funniest line EVER: Andrew broke the record for most thongs eaten in one sitting.
Underlined words are the ones we put in. haha! We went and had some ice cream and took some pictures. Then we started realizing our shoulders hurt so we looked and they were red. Then when we got back home, I looked at my back and it was BUUUURNT! So, Kota and I layed on our massive air mattress with our Aeropostale cami's on trying to soothe our backs, while Lydia and Dakota made jewelry and Sunny just played on her laptop. Jane was at the cousin's house because we had all been invited but most of us felt sick-ish so we didn't go. We watched Soul Surfer WHICH I BOUGHT! :D woooooot! hahahaha...sorry I love that movie.

Saturday we went home... D; so there's nothing too exciting to talk about there.

Sorry...that was MUCH longer than I wanted (so much for no details!)...what can I say! I'm a detail-y person! :P

Summer Update 7

Hello peoplessss,

Today's post is just going to be a spazzy little post from me! Well...these posts are ALWAYS from me, but on this blog they aren't usually spazzy.

Anywhoooo, on Tuesday (which is in.....2-ish days, almost 1), I am going on vacation with my good friends Sunny and Dakota. If you've read my other posts, there is no doubt that you know them.

So, my mom just told me to go to bed, so I'll make this fast! I'm suuuuuuper excited to go!! But we were kinda in a panic for awhile because Sunny went away and forgot to tell us so Dakota and I were left spazzing about whether or not this vacation was still on! It was quite an ordeal!....noooooooot really...I'm just being dramatic and trying to sound.....IDUNNO WHAT I'M TRYING TO SOUND LIKE! :P See..I'm a spazz!(;
I am soooooooooooo excited because.....well........I AM JUST SOOOOOOOO EXCITED! :D

It's all sorted out now and I don't wanna get into all the details.

Summer Update #6

Hello!

I haven't blogged on here a lot lately, and this is just going to be quick because I think I have to have supper soon, but anywaaaaaay....I got my room re-done! :D WOOT!...exciting!!!

That wasn't the actual point of this post though. Tomorrow I am going to my cottage, so I'll have lots to blog about when I get home! :D

Summer Update 5; Part 2

Yo!

This is the second part of my weekend! So...SUNDAY!

Yesterday, I woke up at around 7:15 and showered, got dressed and headed off to church. I had to work in the nursery and there weren't many kids, but ah well it was still fun!
After church, we came home right away and had some quick lunch, changed our clothes and headed to my Aunt and Uncle's house to celebrate my Grandpa's birthday.
When we got there, I hung out with my cousin Catherine, and we chatted, and played air hockey and such.
Around 5, we left to go eat at Milestones. It was sooo good! I had a burger and it was the best burger I've ever had at a restaurant! I loved it! It also came with a roasted garlic cesaer salad. For dessert my mom baked a cake! Catherine also got a creme brulee sort of thing and shared it with me. It was tres yummy!
Most of our relatives went back to my aunt's house to hang out some more, but Catherine came home with my family and we chilled in my room and then my brother was showing us some random videos on his laptop. My cousin left around 9:30 and then I played on my iPod until about 11:30 and then finally decided to go to bed. I probably stayed up on my iPod in bed until about 12:30...heh heh.. ;P

So that's basically what I did yesterday..and today I'm just chilling! Nothing TOO exciting!

Summer Update 5; Part 1

Bonjour!

This Summer Update is going to be all about my weekend!

Saturday: We got up around 7:45 and got ready to go to a music festival. It was bluegrass music which is basically a form of country music! We were hittin' the road by about 9:45 and we arrived at the place at about 11:15. The music didn't start until 11:30 and our relatives that we were supposed to meet there weren't all there until about 1:00. My brother Hunter and I had to entertain our seven year-old cousin, Ryan and let me say, he's a handful! But, none the less, he's so cuute and says the funniest things! We played tic-tac-toe with frogs and turtles...don't WORRY! It was a game! Not real frogs and turtles! We also played with all his stuffed animals. He had a hay-day killing ants on our blanket with my flip-flops. It was rather amusing! Toward the end of the day, around like 6 something, the three of us were chilling by a fence near the road because Hunter and Ryan had been watching firetrucks go by, we ate gummy butterflies and waved at random cars going by! We were trying to get them to honk at us! We had about 28 waves, 8 honks, 1 point, and 1 cheer! ;P It was so fun! Then the dark clouds started rolling in and many people, like my family and our relatives, started packing up and heading for the cars. Some people just moved back into the tents for shelter and the bands kept on playin' away! Here's a picture of the dark sky:

Personally, I think the sky was darker....like legit. If you think that is dark, the sky was honestly muuuch darker than that! I was scared! We were carrying all of the lawn chairs and such, heading for the car, trying not to get rained on...or struck by lightning. The wind was picking up and the sky seemed to be getting darker by the second! I thought it seemed like something from an action movie! (Put THAT in your book Sunny!)
We did get to the car safe and sound and drove home. When we arrived in our city..the sky seemed sooooooooooooo dark in our neighbourhood! Darker than that picture! /: Creeeeeeepy...!
We checked the weather on the computer and it said severe thunderstorm warning....but there wasn't much of a severe thunderstorm...just some lightning, thunder, rain and a little wind..nothing to hide under the covers about! It even said on the computer that it could cause a tornado..but we were fiiiiiiine!

Once we got home, we basically just relaxed and went to bed..we were soo tired! In the afternoon, the breeze went away at one point and it was boiiiiling hot! But we all survived and it was cooler in the evening.

Well, that's it from me for today! My hands are getting tired from frantically typing..so I'll post what we did today, in a post tomorrow(:

Summer Update 4

Helloooooo!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!! (Since, I'm Canadian!) (;

So...I've missed basically all week for my updates, but I'm not going to tell you guys what happened because NOTHING happened this week pretty much. I thought I'd update today though, and inform you about my so far, lazy summer!

I woke up at about 8:00 this morning...I just couldn't sleep! I stayed in bed until about 8:30 probably, just playin' on my iPod. Then I went to the living room and played on my iPod some more, until I decided to have some breakfast. For breakfast I had a peanut butter and jam sandwich and some chocolate milk.
I got dressed shortly after that, threw on some quick makeup and then went out with my mom.
When we got back, she made us strawberry shortcake for lunch! It was soo yummy! And  it was red and white...like the Canadian flag! ;P
Then I took some pictures in my room, and here's a couple that I took

Cool right?! ;P Then I came onto the computer and checked my e-mail, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and all that jazz. My mom and I wanted to read and get some fresh air, so we went outside and read in the shade on our back deck. We came in and then I came on here to make this blog post!

We aren't doing anything exciting tonight for Canada day...I wish we were going to some fireworks though. Ah well...we're doing lots of fun stuff this weekend for my Grandpa's birthday! I'll be sure to post about that on Sunday night or Monday!

Summer Update 3

Heey! I hope y'all are having a great summer!(:
This update is not for today becasue I haven't done anything too exciting yet today...all I've done really is played video games, and done my nails....how fun! :P
This update is from Saturday and Sunday because I did lots of FUN STUFF on those days!!!! I am going to keep this Summer Update not as detailed because I am writing about two days.

Saturday: On Saturday I slept in until about 9:30 and then I had to get ready for a little singing thing that I was helping out with. We got home from that at about 12:40ish I think, and then I got changed because we were going to a party after. We had lunch and then headed out to the party. It took us about half an hour to get there but I was kept busy reading! When we got there, we got a tour of the house. It was really cool because it used to be a school house! It was really big and pretty! Then my "cousins" came (well...not really my cousins but the story is confusing so I'll save it and just call them my cousins.) So yes, two of my cousins arrived, one of which is one of my best friends. Her name is Tiffany. Then we hung out with another one of our cousins Brianne. Also, my brother Hunter hung out with us. Later Kaitlyn came and we hung out with her. We spent a lot of time outside on the playground. There was also an ADORABLE puppy! It was a long haired Chiuahaua named Bella...I know I spelled that wrong...but I bet you can't spell it right either so HA! ;P When we got home we were all really tired..

Sunday: On Sunday we went to Church and in the service, Sunny had to go and help with Junior Church, but Dakota and I were both there and we got really hyper because one guy was reading this Bible passage and he said kettle like "keettle". So we got really hyper and during the sermon, I wrote down all the funny things that the Pastor said! :P
After the service, Dakota, Sunny, Rebecca and I all wanted to do something because we all are on summer break! Well....Rebecca had one more exam today. So we all got together at Dakota's house and went to a park near it and had a PHOTO SHOOT! It was lots of fun! I think Sunny is going to put some pictures on our blog Super Hyper Human Beings..its in my Must Check Out links.
Dakota and I went to Church in the evening and then I went home with my family. We finished watching the second disk of "I Love Lucy" on DVD! We went to bed after but I stayed up til like 11:45ish on my iPod! :P

Well, I have to go eat lunch now!

Summer Update #2

Heeey everyone!

I know I posted a Summer Update blog yesterday and I said that I wouldn't post everyday, but I am bored right now, and I had a pretty good day, so I thought I might as well blooog it(:

So, this morning was very relaxing; watched TV, lounged in a chair playing on my iPod, stayed in my PJs for quite awhile and finally got dressed and did some dusting and emptied the dishrack. I had lunch around 12:20 and just chilled on the computer before doing my hair and makeup. I was just finishing and then Dakota and her dad came to pick me up because I was going to Dakoooota's house! ;D

When we got there, we just talked with her brother Wilson, and then we had HAMBURGERS for lunch (even though I already had lunch)! After that, Dakota and I were playing this computer game, and you have to find hidden objects. I think it's called "Ancient Relics" or something....Help me out here Kota!(; Then after that, we went to the park and had a PHOTO SHOOT! It was epic good fun! We probably spent an hour and a half or so just takind pictures! It was lots of fun! The sky was cloudy the whole time and it did rain a tiiiiiiny bit, but hardly anything! It was great!
When we got back, we were spazzing with Dakota's cat, Sherlock, and Wilson was doing the dishes. We took some preeeeeeeetty crazy pictures of  Sherlock...and maybe I can get Dakota to post them on our shared blog (with Sunny). If she does, I'll edit this post and link them here!
Dakota and I had nachos for supper before heading out to a VBS (Vacation Bible School) meeting at our church...and Sunny was there! We had a lot of fun plus cake, iced tea and picture taking! Oh the fun of it all!

On the way home from the meeting I had to get a phone card for...well, my cell phone! ;P When we came home I tried to put the money on my phone but when I went to My Account on my phone it had a network error, and the on the computer, the website was down with some issue...! AUGH! Don't you just HATE those moments when things don't work out?? Not to mention that my phone money expires tonight at 11:59(PM)....and its currently 10:43(PM). Let me make you feel better by saying that I did get it to work on my cell phone eventually...I don't even know how I did it! I just did somehow! :D I was soo relieved and happy.

Now I am on my brother's laptop and our whole family is in the living room watching 20/20. It's basically a news sort of thing that is on every Friday night. I don't really looove it, but I'm just in the living room and the TV is on, so I have no choice but to hear it...sometimes I glance up from writing this post just to see what's happening on the screen.

Once I go to bed, I'll probably play on my iPod for awhile and on YouTube, look in my subscription box for new videos! Then go to sleep most likely just a little bit before 12:00AM....but it's summer break so WHO CAAAAAAAARES! ;D I do have a singing thing tomorrow and a party to go to....but ah well! The singing thing is at 11:00ish and then party's at 2:00! So I'll get to sleep in until 8:30 at the latest probably!

....This post is dreadfully long! SO SORRY! I'll try to keep my next update shorter(:

Summer Update #1

Alohaa!(:

In my polls on the right --that-way-->, I made one asking if y'all wanted summer updates! I know this is only the second day of having my polls up there, but I looove summer updates so I'm starting them now because I didn't get any negative votes.

Today, my mom woke me up at about 6:50. I made my bed and all that jazz and then had some breakfast. I wandered lazily back to my room, not wanting to get ready for my exam. I got into a comfortable position on my bed and started to check my e-mail, facebook, twitter...etc. When I had about half an hour left before I was going to leave, I threw on an outfit, did my makeup, quickly did my hair and was out the door after packing my small backpack (only small because I don't need much for exams). The weather was nice out so that brightened my spirits some(:
My mom was nice enough to drive me to school, so as I walked up the path into the building, I breathed in the sweet smell of summer air, which wasn't tainted by cigarette smoke because no one was in the smoker's pit today. I noticed one of my friends getting dropped off, so we both walked into the school together and up to our lockers (our lockers happen to be right near eachother!) We went downstairs to find our other friends. We all waited until we could go into the classroom and once we were able to go in, we all took a seat next to each other.
We wrote our exam and I finished about 50 minutes into it...and the whole thing was like 1 hour and 30 minutes! I was really bored! Our teacher initially said that we could leave after an hour if most of us were done, but then we were told that we couldn't! We were all SOOO bored! I was just resting for a minute but that was too boring for me, so I started writing with my non-dominant hand. Then I drew a head of a girl, but I fail at drawing faces, so I didn't give her a face..just a head.
Eventually we were allowed to go and I rushed up to my locker and grabbed my bag, put my lock into said bag and walked outside. I was so happy! I felt so free and glad to be off of school! I walked home care-free and came on the computer. Eventually I had lunch and then got off of the computer and went to my room to get onto another electronic device; my iPod!(:
I spent quite awhile on there and then came back to the computer! I have been talking with Sunny and Dakota for awhile and then thought I should do a summer update!
Basically besides my exam, I've had a pretty laid back day!

I'm not nessecarily going to update EVERY day, but fairly often!
